Why is the monsoon heading towards Gujarat yet to set in, what is the reason?

After the initial predictions of the monsoon, the state was expected to receive below-normal rainfall, however, later the monsoon missed its normal date in the state due to the fast-moving monsoon, and now the monsoon is said to be late.
