Why exempt Scheduled Tribes from UCC when there is a uniform law for all religions? Explained

Scheduled Tribes have been exempted in all the states where the UCC has been formed so far. Because the Constitution has kept the tradition and laws of the tribals separate from those of ordinary citizens.
