Why did India's first Gen-Z movement choose Dr. Ambedkar as its icon?

Every time I went around Jantar Mantar to cover the protest, I could see and hear an image and a slogan every day. That is, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and 'Jaibhim'.
