Super Typhoon Bavi Approaches US Pacific Islands, Could Strike Monday

Bavi was moving westward with sustained winds of 269 kilometres per hour and gusts of 324 kph, the Joint Typhoon Warning Centre said in an update at 7:00 pm local time.
