Salem water supply: govt. says pact with private firm already signed

On June 29, Corporation Mayor A. Ramachandran announced cancellation of a tender awarded to a private company for supplying drinking water to the city’s residents 24/7 for 25 years, but State government clarifies that an agreement with the
