Petrol-Diesel: Relief in petrol, extra pressure on diesel-ATF! Centre hikes export duty

The Centre had on March 26 introduced a windfall tax on diesel and ATF exports to ensure adequate supply of the fuel in the country. Later, on 16 May, this tax was also imposed on the export of petrol.
