The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) has inaugurated the world’s first hydrogen production facility using the Copper–Chlorine (Cu–Cl) thermochemical cycle powered by nuclear heat from the Fast Breeder Test Reactor at IGCAR, Kalpakkam.
