IMD issues heavy rainfall alert for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar and Raigad

Mumbai: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Mumbai and its suburbs following heavy rainfall in the region. Meanwhile, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Mumbai and adjoining areas for the next few days.
