Government hikes onion procurement price again, know what will be the impact on consumers and farmers

The government has increased the procurement price of onion for buffer stock by 13 per cent to Rs 2,125 / quintal. The government has taken this step to give better returns to the farmers and to speed up the weakened government procurement.
