Every second girl in the country is dropping out of school by the time she reaches Class 12, the government informed Parliament.

Retention Rate Girls: The Union Ministry of Education has shared information about the retention rate of girl students in Parliament, while the number of girls dropping out of school till 12th is double in many states including UP, Bihar.
