Beekeeping initiative in Pichavaram mangroves: a sweet livelihood for Irula tribals

As many as 250 bee boxes will be installed across the mangrove ecosystem. The initiative that is expected to enhance pollination and support natural mangrove regeneration, is designed to support 100 Irula tribal households.
