Refund and grievance timelines, like the bank-detail correction now under way, should be guaranteed in days, not left to discretion. And answer keys and results, as the West Bengal Public Service Commission is expected to do, must be released transparently and promptly. Run the gateway as carefully as we ask the young to prepare for it, and trust will follow.
