The Joint India-France AI Working Group should be anchored to the human-centric, inclusive standard invoked in Nice, with safeguards on privacy and data written in public. Every technology and civil-nuclear pact should carry an explicit transfer-of-capability and domestic-manufacturing clause. Sign ambitiously abroad; account rigorously at home. That, not the count of communiqués, is how a visit becomes a verifiable gain for the citizen.
