Second, it should convert the appeal made at Evian into a rule, pressing through the G7 and relevant maritime forums for secure shipping lanes and protection of civilian crews in the Strait of Hormuz. Third, after such summits it should publish time-bound notes — what was agreed, which ministry owns delivery, what deadline binds — so that the Canada timeline is clarified and the Joint Crediting Mechanism is followed by credible implementation. Prosperity and dignity need not compete. A confident republic banks the deals and still demands an answer for its dead.
