Let Parliament review them against the doubling-of-trade pledge each year, not only when five have passed. A foreign policy answerable to its own citizens is stronger, not weaker, for the scrutiny. India is right to walk the world as a contributor; it will earn the title not in Nice or Bratislava, but in the audit at home that no camera records.
