The intent behind the offensive is right, and the threat it names is real.

A state that waited for a blast before acting would be failing its first duty to the citizen.

A property attached before trial, a hotelier summoned on suspicion — each is innocent until a court rules otherwise. In a region where the wounds of a long insurgency are still raw, a crackdown read as collective punishment risks deepening the alienation hostile agencies seek to exploit. Seizures that never ripen into convictions corrode a trust no smuggled rifle could.

A security strategy that cannot tell the two apart will fill its prisons while the network refills the streets. Choking demand through de-addiction infrastructure is not softness; it is how the supplier's market is denied, and it belongs in the same campaign as every asset seizure.

To honour the soldier is not to salute him in the abstract, but to ask how a domination exercise injured four of our own, and then to fix what failed.

And the same vulnerable regions need a lawful stake in their future: the Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization's workshop on export awareness and e-commerce onboarding linked to the India-European Free Trade Agreement, the scientific makeover that could take Kaladi cheese beyond Jammu and Kashmir, and the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's pitch in Singapore for Amaravati, Rayalaseema and semiconductor investment. A republic defeats hostile networks by making citizenship more attractive than fear.
